Dongmen, or Dongmen pedestrian street, is a well known area for shopping and eating.

There are lots of stalls, little shops, restaurants, malls, and huge retail spaces.

It’s primarily a commercial section of the Louho District where no vehicles are allowed (a rarity in Shenzhen, or China as a whole) interlocked with pedestrian streets.

The streets tend to be lined with palm trees, and lots of neon.

Though there’s some more traditional architecture worked in, here and there anyway.

The big reason to come to Dongmen though is the shopping.  It’s a real shoppers treat.

Dongmen’s a fun part of town, and quite bustling on the weekends.
